Come join us on Sunday May 21st for charcuterie, wine tasting and musical entertainment by Feet First who first started playing under the name “Feet First” about 12 years ago. Most of the band members have been together since its inception other than the bass player, Brian Groff, who joined in April of 2018.
As a classic rock band they aim to have songs people recognize and create the urge to get up and dance.
Feet First is:
Dave Moore on lead guitar and backing vocals. He came over from England 11
years ago after a very successful career as a musician in a variety of genres. He
currently plays in two other musical acts while occasionally being called upon to
provide his talents with other bands in the valley.
Mason Guetter: Second lead guitar and keyboards. The youngest member of the
band but one of the oldest souls in the band. Originally from Ontario he now
makes Armstrong his home. Also a member of original recording artists,
“Modern Folk.”
Clint Batchelor: Drummer and backing vocalist. He has likened his style of
playing to that of John Bonham of Led Zepplin. With his long white flowing hair
and beard he tackles the drums with gusto but his backing vocals are a major
addition to the songs as he provides sweet harmonies for most of what we play.
Dave Thackray: Lead vocalist and acoustic guitar. Originally from Vancouver he
was brought up on classic rock bands of the seventies. Although raised on a
steady diet of rock classics he still enjoys the softer ballads whenever possible.
Brian Groff: Bass player and backing vocals. Newest addition but no stranger to
the classic rock band scene. Originally from Ontario but now making his home in
Vernon. He has played bass for approximately 40 years and, not surprisingly,
has incredible skill driving those bass lines.
With all 5 of them, music is a passion. They love to play together, see people having fun and bring enthusiasm to whatever venue they play.
