FAQs

What does general Fun at the Farm Admission include?

For those who are not joining us for a wine tasting or tour experience, general admission provides access to enjoy the farm at your own pace. The admission includes self-guided mini farm tours of our resident animals, farm games, the famous jumping pillow, the option to enjoy a la carte food and wine offerings, as well as access to Live Music Sundays.

I’m traveling with my children. Can we bring them?

Absolutely! We offer kid-approved tasting experiences and seasonal mini farm tours (available as an add-on when booked alongside an existing wine tasting, private picnic or tour). To learn more, click here.

Can I bring additional guests?

Additional guests are welcome to join us at the farm! Simply add-on Fun at the Farm general admission when booking your visit. General admission includes access to self-guided mini farm tours of our resident animals, farm games and the option to enjoy a la carte food and wine offerings. Children 2 and under are free.

Can I bring my dog?

Dogs are welcome to our farm, permitting they are leashed and accompanied by their owner at all times. Please indicate you are bringing your dog in the Notes section of your booking.

How long can we spend at Covert Farms?

We offer a variety of onsite experiences, including one-hour wine tastings, two-hour Campfire Cookouts, and 2.5-hour Private Picnics and Hands on Harvest Tours. You are welcome to stay beyond your booked experience, and move to one of the tables on the grass or south deck of the reception barn. We also have plenty of farm games to enjoy!

Can we bring our own food?

If you would like to enjoy food with your wine, please book one of our tasting experiences or tours.

Can I access Mcintyre Bluff?

Our gate to the farm is now locked due to the number of businesses operating on Covert Farms. We do not have the staffing to adequately and safely manage bluff hiking traffic, and unfortunately are unable to permit access through Covert Farms to the Bluff. For the most up-to-date trailhead information and access points, visit Oliver Tourism. We thank you for your understanding!

Is your u-pick open?

Our fruit and vegetable fields are managed by Terry and Harpreet Grewal of Secrest Organics. For any information regarding the fruit stand or pick your own appointments, please call Harpreet at 250-689-2626.
