Hello!   Welcome to Covert Farms 

Covert Farms is nestled at the foot of McIntyre Bluff on a 600 acres kame terrace  just north of Oliver, BC the Wine Capital of Canada. 

A large organic farm and country market that features a wine shop, as well as specialty coffees and gourmet lunches, muffins and ice cream, in season organic produce fresh from the farm, in the setting of beautiful vegetable and flower gardens, a patio and playground. Within the country market wine lovers will find organically-grown wines that include Pinot Blanc and Rosé, as well as the proprietary blends The Bluff, Stoneface, MDC and Amicitia. These wines sport the new name and labels, that picture the night hawk and McIntyre Bluff, two of the location’s most unique features.

Those who love recreation dually appreciate the location of Covert Farms, as it is positioned at the gateway to the iconic Okanagan Landmark, McIntyre Bluff, and makes a great place to picnic after a bike ride or hike.

What we are about …

We are about teaching people about good food and the relationships that are necessary to bring that about in a sustainable way.  We are by no mean the experts.  Organic … Bio-dynamic … Permaculture …  The relationships of our land are many and complex and most have yet to be discovered.  As we do though, we find interest, intrigue, humility and of course great food.

Good food is not just about taste.  Its not just the nutrient value.  It’s about  life, learning and exploration.  We invite you to come explore; learn about your food; and experience a place bustling with life and diversity.

How can you do this?

 Visit our farm!  We encourage all our customers to try Pick-your-own.  Friendly staff in the fields can assist you with your selections and guide you if you so choose.  Over 40 different crops to try and experiment with.  If you don’t care to pick, we have harvested produce in our market, as well as fresh menu items in our cafe.

Looking for more one-on-one.  Take a guided tour with a farmer. Learn about our vineyards, fields, and special places around us.  Max 10 people per tour.
