Covert Farms Family Estate is situated at the foot of McIntyre Bluff on a 650 acre kame terrace north of Oliver, BC.

We’re an organic farm, vineyard, and winery. Our organically-grown wine portfolio includes Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc/Semillon, and Rosé, as well as proprietary red blends The Bluff, MDC and Amicitia. Relax on our licensed patio and enjoy a glass wine with a charcuterie and cheese board featuring small bites from the farm.

Those who love recreation dually appreciate the location of Covert Farms, as it is positioned at the gateway to the iconic Okanagan Landmark, McIntyre Bluff, and makes a great place to picnic after a bike ride or hike. In-season organic produce is also available through Secrest Organics at Covert Farms in the Farm Store, a short walk from the Wine Lounge.

Our Philosophy

We support tasty, healthy foods and the relationships necessary to bring that about in a sustainable way.  Our vineyard is certified organic, and we embrace biodynamic and permaculture farming methods. The relationships of our land are complex and most have yet to be discovered. As we learn more we find interest, intrigue, and humility. We invite you to explore our farm, to learn about our farming practices and experience a place bustling with life and diversity.

Experience the Winery & Farm

Take a guided tour with a farmer. Explore our vineyards and fields in our vintage 1952 Mercury Truck. Your tour ends with a private wine tasting accompanied by small bites from our kitchen. (max 10 people per tour)

In season, we encourage our wine customers to visit Secrest Organics at Covert Farms and try pick-your-own. The friendly staff at Secrest Organics can assist with your selections and guide you along the way. They grow more than 40 different crops, so you can try something new. Freshly harvested produce is also available in their farm store, steps from our Wine Lounge. Many crops are available from late spring until first frost.

Your Gateway to McIntyre Bluff

It is a moderate hike taking approximately three hours. Check in at the Wine Lounge before heading up, bring lots of water, and please keep dogs on leash. After your hike, relax on our patio with a glass of wine and small bites.
